Movies, films & Naomi Watts

During the 1990s, Watts was in a relationship with director Stephen Hopkins and from 2002 to 2004, she dated Heath Ledger. From Spring of 2005, she has been in a liaison with actor Live Schreiber. She stated in early 2009 that Schreiber had offered her a ring but marriage was not on the cards at the moment. Schreiber, ever known as the jokester, had called Naomi his wife in 2007; however, it was later discovered to be a joke. Watts and Schreiber's first son, named Alexander Sasha Pete, was born in 2007 and their next son, Samuel Sammy Kai, was born in 2008.
Following a break from acting, Watts came back to work in "The International," her first assignment since giving birth. In April 2010, she stated that she would love to have another child if she was guaranteed to have a girl. However, she stated, "I do have some beliefs but I am not a committed Buddhist or anything at this time." Nonetheless, she follows the Transcendental Meditation method.
For many years, Watts made several films for television. However, it was not until her feat in the highly praised mystery, "Mulholland Drive", by David Lynch in 2001 that critics gave her a second look. Afterwards she took the part in "Le Divorce" in 2003 based on a novel by Diane Johnson about an American woman wedded to a Frenchman in Paris. Her marriage takes a sour note during her sister's stay, played by Kate Hudson.
During the same year, Watts astounded audiences and critics alike with her amazing performance in Alejandro Gonzalex Iarritu's suspense story "21 Grams." Her depiction of a young mother with an irresponsible past was published as her best work, earning her a nod at the Academy Awards. Watts then played a role in the military drama "We Don't Live Here Anymore" in 2004 , and the unusual comedy, "I Heart Huckabees" 2004, including reuniting with Sean Penn in "The Assassination of Richard Nixon" 2004.
