Iggy Azalea avoids a wardrobe malfunction as she pairs her tiny miniskirt with matching hotpants for energetic performance

She's not one to shy away from the more daring fashion trends.

But even when experimenting with revealing ensembles, Iggy Azalea knows how to avoid embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions, as she proved while performing at the Parklife Weekender event in Manchester on Sunday.

The 22-year-old singer paired her patterned crop top and miniskirt with a matching pair of hotpants to ensure she didn't accidentally reveal a bit too much as she bounded around the stage during her energetic performance.

Sensible girl! Iggy paired the outfit with a matching pair of hotpants to avoid any embarrassing wardrobe malfunction

Clearly conscious of the revealing nature of the ensemble, Iggy's cautious addition proved more than necessary, as the singer later pulled off the skirt to reveal the tiny hotpants beneath.

But the rapper had nothing to be worried about, as her outfit choice only served to draw attention to her enviably toned figure.

Iggy teamed her three-piece outfit with fishnet tights and white studded boots as she delighted fans with her performance at the outdoor festival in Heaton Park.

However, Iggy admitted in a recent interview that her decision to hold off on signing to a label wasn't because she's 'anti-label'.

She explained to Digital Spy: 'I just wanted to sign a deal when the time was right. I'm anti being shot out of a rocket when you're not ready and the songs and image aren't there. I think labels are skipping on the whole development side of an artist so you have to do it yourself these days.
