Both stars were taking part in the photo call on Friday as part of the launch of a three-day event event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of BBC TV show Doctor Who.
Jenna-Louise pulled off a casual chick look with the playfully cut dress, teaming it with black high heel suede loafers and despite the cold winter weather - bare legs.
The pair looked relaxed and comfortable with each other as they had their photograph taken.

The sold-out event will relive 50 years of Doctor Who adventures in space and time at London’s ExCeL across three days from Friday.
With behind-the-scenes demonstrations and workshops, stunts, explosions, monsters, props & costumes, official merchandise and memorabilia – it gives fans unrivaled access to the show.
It is just one of a number of celebrations going on to mark the 50 year anniversary show, which airs on BBC One on Saturday night.

Jenna and Matt recently attended Buckingham Palace for a celebratory a reception hosted by Sophie The Countess of Wessex who has been a fan of the show since she was a child.
Four Time Lords in total - Matt Smith, Tom Baker, Peter Davison and John Hurt - were in attendance at the event in the Palace's Bow Rom, along with Catherine Tate.
On Wednesday Jenna enjoyed a night out at the Groucho wearing a pair of cropped trousers.

She's had a busy week attending Somerset House on Tuesday evening for a private viewing of the Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore! exhibition and earlier on in the day was promoting the upcoming episode of 'Doctor Who' on the 'Daybreak' sofa.
Speaking of Matt Smith's departure from Doctor Who at the end of this year, Jenna said: 'I knew it was going to be sad, but it was really traumatic. It was very emotional and overwhelming.'
And she added: 'It's a strange thing [but] it's the nature of the show. Matt leaves, Peter arrives in his costume and the scene carries on. You just keep going - that's the show.'

Matt Smith recently spoke to Radio 1 about his choice to move on from the role and confessed he will miss Jenna-Louise when he leaves.
He said: 'I think as an actor you become very close to the characters. If it's the Ponds [Amy Pond], or Rose Tyler, whoever it is, you spend so much time together that I think as people you become very close but that's part and parcel of the show really.
Smith, who was cast in Ryan Gosling's directorial debut this year, was no doubt chuffed to be involved in the anniversary celebrations before heading for Hollywood and letting Peter Capaldi step into his shoes.
The Day of the Doctor is the 50th Anniversary episode of Doctor Who airs on BBC1 at 19.50 on Saturday night.
