Delevingne and Georgia May Jagger have swapped the catwalks of London, Paris and Milan to strut their stuff at the Cannes Film Festival.
The young models ensured all eyes were on them as they lead the glamour at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony on Wednesday night ahead of A List stars and seasoned models.
And it seems they'd been given the same memo as they both opted for floorlength dresses with plunging necklines as they worked their magic on the red carpet.
Model entrances: Catwalk stars Cara Delevingne and Georgia May Jagger lead the glamour as they arrive on the red carpet for the 2013 Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony on Wednesday night
Cara, 20, stood out in a glamorous floorlength black Burberry gown with lace detailing across her arms and bust.
She, of course, worked the cameras like a pro as she pouted to perfection in front of the crowds and scores of photographers.
Delevingne ditched her usual style of beanie hats and trainers to complete her look with plenty of shimmering jewellery and styled to perfection blow dried hair.
Causing a stir: Cara Delevingne, 20, had all eyes on her as she made her way along the red carpet as if it were her catwalk on Wednesday evening at the 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival at the Theatre Lumiere
She's a vamp: Cara strutted her stuff in the black lace gown with a plunging neckline while she finished her look with smokey eyes and dark red lips
She scrubs up well: The 20-year-old catwalk star ditched her usual tomboy style for the glamorous gown as she made sure she left her mark among the A List crowd
Making her mark: Cara worked the red carpet as if it were her catwalk as she became one of the first stars to make their entrance ready for the Opening Ceremony and the screening of opening film The Great Gatsby
Lovely in lace: Cara poses up despite the wind and rain in a Burberry gown
Looking windswept! Cara looks like she may be feeling the cold as in her lace gown - the red carpet was sodden by the end of the star studded parade
And she even put on more make-up than usual, knowing the world's eyes would be on her at the event.
She wore smokey eyes and had a slick of dark red lipstick to finish off her vampish ensemble.
Georgia May, meanwhile, also went for a floorlength gown with a plunging neckline to show off her curves and slender physique.
Blending in: Georgia May, meanwhile, opted for scarlet red as she smouldered for the cameras in matching rouge lipstick
Stealing the show: Georgia cuddled up to Cindy Crawford and Eva Cavalli as they showed off their glamorous styles ready for the big film screening to kick off proceedings for the festival
Hollywood glamour: Both Cindy, 47, and Georgia, 21, showed off their stunning looks and happily posed together as they arrived at the ceremony surrounded by umbrellas
White hot: Cindy Crawford, 47, sauntered across the red carpet in her floorlength white gown showing she's still got it in style and beauty
Curvaceous: Cindy showed off her famous looks as she joined the rest of the stars mingling at the bash over the next week and a half as the biggest movies in Hollywood are screened
But she instead opted for a scarlet red frock for the occasion, smouldering with her infamous pout as she showed off her outfit with its sequin and cut out detailing.
Earlier in the day she had been seen wiling away the time ahead of her grand entrance as she chilled out on Roberto Cavalli's yacht with a male pal.
But when it came to Wednesday night there was one woman in particular people couldn't wait to see - Carey Mulligan, star of the opening film The Great Gatsby.
In the purple: Julianne Moore opted for a larger gown in a lilac coloured satin, while she wore silver strappy heels and her hair worn down and sleek
Stunners: Naomie Harris glittered in her gown, while Isla Fisher opted for daring red and Freida Pinto looked ravishing in her hot pink halterneck frock as they all rubbed shoulders
Making her entrance: Nicole Kidman looked gorgeous and in high spirits as she walked along while being protected from the rain under an umbrella from a helper
New look: Nicole Kidman, who is on the Cannes Film Festival Jury, showed off a new hair style as she arrived for The Great Gatsby screening
Pouring down: Nicole had earlier told the Daily Mail she didn't mind the weather, and even laughed as she looked up at the sky with an umbrella over her head during the red carpet arrivals
And she didn't disappoint as she worked her magic in a cream plunging gown with a bouffant bottom.
The 27-year-old seemed to have changed her style for the appearance as she wore her platinum locks straight and down, looking longer than her previous pixie cut.
She kept the rest of her look quite simple with a slick of red lipstick and intricate earrings.
Lady of the night: Carey Mulligan stunned in her blush pink couture Dior gown with red lips and sleek platinum blonde hair as she awaited the screening of her film, The Great Gatsby
Flashing the flesh: Carey gave a hint of side boob as she joined her co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, who received a large applause from the waiting crowds
Film of the evening: Leonardo looked in high spirits as he chatted with his pretty co-star, knowing all eyes would be on their latest movie on Wednesday evening, with Hollywood royalty watching the film beside them
Striking: Freida Pinto was one of the brightest stars on the carpet as she showed up in a flamboyant Gucci frock with braided hair as she ignored the rainy weather
Although it wasn't the most sophisticated entrance she could have had - the actress was hit on the head by an umbrella as she prepared to walk the red carpet.
Several men with umbrellas crowded around her limo to keep her dry as she walked the few steps from the vehicle to the sodden red carpet.
On the dry section of carpet Carey posed with her leading men Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire.
Standing out: Solange Knowles made her mark in a flowing beige see-through gown as the cameras flashed in full force
'There were so many people around me as I got out of the car that I couldn't move and I got hit on the head by an umbrella.
'I suddenly went 'What the xxxx' and I didn't realise there was a TV camera in my face recording everything' she chuckled as she told the Daily Mail.
Even so, she still looked very pretty in a pink couture Dior gown.
Isla Fisher, meanwhile, wore a layered red silk dress from Oscar de la Renta.
Her husband, Sasha Baron Cohen, shielded her from some of the rain with an umbrella but he wasn't able to protect her from every drop.
DiCaprio certainly drew the loudest cheers from crowds, many of whom had been camping out since Sunday night.
However, inside the Festival De Palais' grand auditorium it was Cannes Film Festival jury president Steven Spielberg, who won tremendous applause with a sustained standing ovation.
The director was obviously bowled over by the reception.
'Wow, I never expected that', he told the audience.
Nicole Kidman also drew warm applause and obvious approval for the Dior dress she wore.
Other judges included Ang Lee, Christoph Waltz, Daniel Auteuil, Lynne Ramsay, Cristian Mungiu ,Vidya Balan and Naomi Kawase .
Audrey Tatou was mistress of ceremonies for the festival opening.
After the opening show, which included a performance from singer Lana del Rey, the gala audience watched Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby in 3D.
