Jon Bon Jovi married his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley,
way back in 1989 in Las Vegas, while on a stop in L.A. on the rocker's
New Jersey tour. And, after more than two decades or marriage and four
children, they're still going strong today!
However, the rocker's family is making headlines today for a not-so-happy reason. TMZ reports that Bon Jovi and Hurley's only daughter, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, was arrested Monday.
Reports indicate cops arrived to a dorm room at Hamilton College after someone reported that the 19-year-old Bongiovi had overdosed on heroin. Medical personnel and police arrived and found she was alive and there was a "small quantity" of heroin and some other drug paraphernalia in the room. Bongiovi was then arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernalia, which are all misdemeanors.
Bongiovi was later released from custody and will have to appear in court at a later date. A 21-year-old male was also charged with drug possession.
