"I still get excited to see it because we don't know what it's going to look like when we're doing it," Peter Facinelli, who plays Carlisle Cullen, tells Zap2it at Comic-Con in San Diego, where the first seven minutes of "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" premiered during the movie's panel.
"You see something on the page and ... I couldn't imagine that it would be that epic," Elizabeth Reaser, who portrays Esme Cullen in the "Twilight" films, adds. "I was sort of crying a couple times in the first seven minutes ... How is it possible that I can be a fan at this point? It's a real testament to Bill Condon."
By now, fans of the series know there's an unexpected twist in the final film adaptation, and like we've said before, it's really best kept a secret until you see it for yourself on the big screen.
"There's a couple of surprises in the movie that aren't in the book," Facinelli says. "And those are the things that I love having fans see, because the movies kind of follow the books so rigidly that whenever you have something that's a little bit of a surprise it's kind of a breath of fresh air. ... If I gave it away, it wouldn't be a surprise. It wouldn't be any fun."
Having worked together on the "Twilight" series since 2008, the cast is sort of graduating with the release of the final film. So in the spirit of donning a cap and gown, who would Reaser, Facinelli and Nikki Reed (Rosalie Hale) award superlatives to from the cast?
